Don't believe there is such a camera, unless you go to view cameras with leaf shutters (well, technically a leaf shutter is in the lens). Use high-speed shutter sync.

I am pretty sure that you are going to have to move to a 1 series body to get the functionality that you want. With the 1 series body you can go higher than 1/300th. I am attaching a copy of the manual's page that covers that. I have used my children's xti but never to this extent. I just wanted something lighter for the day.

Medium format and large format with their leaf shutters.. You can use flash at any shutter speed..

That page covers flash functions.

High-speed shutter sync is a function on the flash. The icon is the flash arrow with an "H".

As was said, the only one that can do it naturally is the 1D classic at 1/500. HSS will cut the power of the flash and it's less useful for night games.

High Speed Synch. I use it sometimes at shows (-2 FEC) from as far as 50 feet away. Shutter speeds not faster than 1/320s and at 100mm or more so I don't know if there would be enough light at faster speeds and wider angles.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

Have you tried high speed sync, most if not all the speedlights will support it, all the a class bodies will, that should include all the digital bodies.

The only popup flash that does is the 7D afaik, but HS with a limited power flash is not that useful.
