WOW finally I got a reply to this thread. I thought this was some of my best stuff yet but I guess it's just not hittin anyone else right... who knows. But thank you for the comment and yes Aaron Lewis puts on a great show. We saw Lo-Pro that night, and then Lo-Pro opened up the next night for Halestorm, Chevelle, and Staind... didn't get to shoot that show though because I don't have the credentials yet. Photographing music is so much fun though.... I can definately see myself progress and that's what I get the most joy out of.

Great pics. I had never heard of Lo-Pro but it was a free show at the re-opened Trees in Dallas so I went down to take some pics.

here are a couple

and even was lucky enough to meet and talk to Dallas after the show. I really enjoyed Lo-Pro.

#1: Nice stance, awkward expression.
#2: good stance & expression, two guys in the background half cropped. Pity that.
#3: Okay-ish. Not too special IMO.
#4: Nice light. Nice atmosphere, might add a bit of contrast.
#5: Nice light. Brighten the face a bit & crop a bit off bottom and left.

Nice set. I really like #2, agree with Rene about the crop. #4 is great, I like it as-is.

I missed these guys when they opened on the Stimulate This tour here. They started their set about 45 minutes before the show was supposed to start, so I only caught the last couple of songs from them. Very impressed with what I heard.

I think my Switchfoot set is better but #2 is a great, classic shot.
