Wow, I don't know what to say. As soon as you get that 200L on a camera, you're not going to want to sell it.

Edit: I would say the lady deserves a bit more money too, by the way. Obviously it wasn't hers so she had no idea but still.

I'd suggest some nice radials. Bias Plys tend to shred under such weight.

allready called and woke up my buddy hes up modding his tripod for me now..... skatboard wheels on custom caster style mounts, and hes swappin the head to some german ball head that i cant pronounce the name of... he says its whats gonna work best, and i trust him considering he has the 400 mounted to a 1ds mark III with a custom made bracket with two stobes mounted to it, and he gets around great with it........

funny thing about his gear is all he shoots is flowers....

How well do u thing this would work attached to a 20d, they are cheap enough i could buy another one, and just leave them together........

200mm f/1.8 L with tons of other lenses for only 200?
i would've imagined that would've been snapped up right away.

I'll probably have dreams tonight of coming across such a deal.
you are a lucky man.

Yeah, I am still looking for that clueless thrift shop owner selling a "worthless old" Noctilux for the same price as the NIkon 50 1.8. :)

A 135 F2.8 Noctilux just sold on shopgoodwill last week for a little over $100.00 :)

There was a local auction here in Carthage, MO where a ton, over 200 lenses, most were medium and large format went for $200 and under. I wasnt there but was told about it so it is second hand information. I guess most were still in boxes and a guy out of Chicago bought most with a smile on his face.

We had what they call a 100 mile yard sale here in sw mo, and I bought three vivitar flashes for $1 a piece lol. One is broke but I bought it anyway. I always check the thrift shops and such, never know what your gonna find.
