I use to kill them if they came near me, but I'm learning not to freak out now. This may sound stupid, but I have a plastic cup in each room of my house so when/if I see a spider I can put the cup over it. Once I work up the nerve I'll try slipping a piece of paper or cardboard under the cup so I can pick it up without dropping the spider, then I let them go outside. They still gross me out, but I thought it was silly that I'm as big as I am and terrified of a little itty bitty spider! - Mandy

After he has impregnated her she will often kill and then eat him. Now that is something to hate.
