When I tried to install the Twain driver to my PC, which has Windows 98, it not only refused to do so but it also corrupted the Twain driver that runs my Epson 1650 Scanner. Now, neither the scanner or the camera (Powershot S300) will work on my desktop. I was able to install everything on a laptop, so I have a way of downloading photos, though not very conveniently.
Any suggestions? I've tried everything suggested in the manual, including cables, uninstalling and re-installing the software (both scanner and camera). I tried downloading a newer version of the scanner Twain driver, all to no avail. I'm ready to throw this out the window.
