YAY on Hale. And she is a FROG DOG...an expression we use when dogs lay with their back legs out that way. :D

thanks guys :)

Wool, she's got a long tongue like Kona but it's more narrow...his is really spoon shaped

John, Kona is very dark in winter too. When we first got him we weren't sure whether he would be liver or b&w. He's been in the sun a lot this summer and poor Hale's been crated most of the time. She'll fade too next summer.

LOL Becky on the frawg dog :)

She looks like she's putting weight on it, that's got to be a good thing. You're obviously very dedicated in helping her healing, all that time in a crate is hard for dog and people. Good on you.

She's 20lbs now...and a little mis-proportioned (but she's only 5.5 months old so she'll probably be mis=proportioned for another few months). We've had to be careful with how much she eats, since she's been on mega crate rest

This is good news to be greeted with after a long day on the road.

She looks good, Lisa.

I missed this entire thing Lisa:(

I am so glad she is back to her almost whole self! Nothing worse than having a spirited dog in a crate for such a long time. We had that with one of our Boxers, it was harder on us than the dog for sure!

Amazing how resilient they are.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

It's true Gail. And thanks. It's been exceptionally hard. I had no idea. We still have to keep our two apart for a couple more months. Til Hale's bones set well. Unless Kona is completely worn out, then they can be together. And anyone who knows Kona would say that nothing completely wears him out.
