very nice, slightly overblown highlights for my taste but could make a very nice print. Like the composition, it holds my interest.

Agreed with all points

2 Samuel 9:7-8, "So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.” Then he bowed himself, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?”

I'm accross the canal just south of Ballard, the town Seattle usurped in 1907.

It looks as if the boat might be out of commission but in this case, it's a good thing. It definitely holds my interest and the B&W works well with the subject. Nice shot.

Thank you Thumbsup I'm glad you liked the conversion .The boat looks like it may be out of commission for the time being but I'm sure it could be ready to go in no time!

I know this is not the critique section but is it possible to post the original exposure for reference?

I find that there is warmth lacking in the print from slightly harsh contrast. The composition is good but I think a better print could be made. The ghosting around the chain and rope is not helping this image IMO.
