I wish I could as well. I was very limited to the time I was able to take these pictures as it was on the way to the Philadelphia Auto Show. :(

here's a rolling shot rig I cobbled together during a meet-up on suday with a magic arm, a remote shutter trigger, and my 5d2:

a quick selfie with the rig:

and the result, hanging out the back window of a civic:

that's a pretty boss looking rig, but I wonder if it is more effective than the traditional way?

the traditional way? you mean just hanging out of a window with the camera to your eye? that way is more effective for accurate composition and chimping.

I use this rig for more mobility and ease of use, especially if i'm leaning out of a car with tiny windows, as well as getting the camera closer to the ground. my ideal vehicle to shoot out of is a miata because its so low and is a roadster-lots of room to move with nothing behind. With this rig, I do have to just set it how i think it will look good (typically aperture-priority with a small aperture and low ISO to get a decently long shutterspeed) then just spray and pray on burst mode.

i'm not sure if it is more effective, but it is more user friendly and versatile, I think.

out of a couple hundred shots from this cruise, i only got a handful i liked, mainly because the entire first half my shutterspeed was too quick and it looked like the cars were stopped on the road.

^ Is there a reason you don't use shutter priority?
