Poor Mysie had to be put to sleep the other day.

Mysie was losing weight and had really cut down on her eating ... the vet said that her liver was shutting down for some reason and she didn't have long to live. We adopted her five years ago from the Humane Society, who said she was around four or five years old. What a nice cat, very friendly and affectionate, always willing to warm a lap. She will be missed.

It's hard to loose an animal, they're basically a family member. I've had my cat for 13 years... I love him. I am sorry for your loss, Great pictures... Something to cherish and have as a remembrance for your lovely cat. :)

Thanks for all the replies and nice thoughts. :) Luckily, I do have literally thousands of pictures of Mye-Ling, so while she will be missed, she won't be soon forgotten.

She´s adorable, I bet she was great.

I just lost my dog I got for my 4th birthday, I´m 19 now. 15 years isn´t bad for him, especially because he used to be in a K9 Unit. Loved him, I didn´t get to see him for about 13 years since he lived in a different country where I used to live (and recently moved back to), and he remembered me from his puppy years.
