Thanks, James :) . They are beautiful creatures - very charming. We were blessed to have a very personable otter at our pond in April of '07. I spent most of the month photographing him:

lucky guy Ian. i remember admiring the first set from a couple of years ago. otters are among my favorite creatures in the world and i'd love to see river otters in the wild. all we have here are those darn sea otters :D.

Lol, Ed, I am a very fortunate man :D . Living on a moutain top in New England affords me lots of opportunities I wouldn't otherwise have. The winters are a little hard, but otherwise it's a paradise of sorts. I hope you do get to see river otters in the wild - they're really quite charming, lol. Of course, in the meantime you're always welcome to "visit" the otters I have on my Pbase site, lol ;) .
