What you need to do is go into the SEARCH part of Bing NOT the shopping page. Just use the search window on the main Bing.com page. You may need to log in first. They told me to search for a comon item, tamron Lens. Then when I clicked on the Adorama link, it popped up with the 11%. It took time for them to figure this out. It seems they have 2 Bing offers, 3% and 11%, accessed different ways. I think they are trying to determine which method works best.

I ordered the 7D, Grip and battery. I received an 11% discount on each item.

Thanks, Mike R....
I think I finally figured out how to get the 11% to pop up. What a convoluted cashback program this is!

Placed and order late last night and called into Adorama for "verification" this morning. Was told my order would be sent out today, but never did. Guess I'll have to wait till Monday till it goes out. Eagerly awaiting the 11% cashback to show up and disappointed at Adorama.

It took a few people at Adorama, over a day to figure this out for me. BUT they stuck with it and got it resolved for me.

Sort of funny 'cause I used the 11% link but when I got my cashback notification it was only for 3%. Contacted Bing and they adjusted for me. :) Customer service was very helpful.

You won't see notification until up to 24 hours after the item has actually shipped!

My item shipped two days ago and still no notification. I'll forward the order info to you via email and hope your sales department can rectify the situation.

Did you contact them by telephone or email?

Firefox was def the problem. Thanks for putting this up! As soon as i went to IE the 11% came up for the 7D! Thanks a lot again!!!

Ok, I tried again and it works, I get the cash back in my account almost immediately. Here is how I did it.

Use IE 6 instead of FireFox 3
On MS window instead of Mac OS
I go to Bing.com/cashback instead of /shopping.
Search for Canon 5D
Click on the link with Adorama on the right. It doesn't say 11% on the link.
But while redirect, it shows it is 11%
Then I search for Canon 7D in Adorama and checkout.
Another difference I notice is the checkout screen. This time it is a multi-page check out. The previous unsuccessful time is a one page check out. I think this one page check out is causing the problem.

This worked and it is beyond a doubt the stupidest way to earn 11%! I am not knocking the 11%!!

When you do a search for a Canon 7D, you get a listing down the center that indicates 3%, and you get a 5D listed on the right hand side that simply says Bing Cashback.

If you click on the 7D listing in the center a window opens up saying you will get 3 to 10% during this shopping spree.

If you click on the 5D on the right side a window opens which says that your purchase at Adorama earns 11% cashback.

Enter your email address and the special word and the next window is the Canon 5D.

Do a search for the 7D and add it to your cart.

I went all the way to the final purchase window and nothing pertaining to a cashback appeared.

BEFORE I TAKE THE NEXT STEP, WHEN DOES THE CASHBACK INFORMATION APPEAR?

On the Bing Cashback FAQ it says:

"Don't worry if you don't see the cashback symbol or savings when making a purchase at a store's website. We'll email you after your purchase to confirm your cashback.

Your first time using Bing cashback, we'll ask for your email address so we can tell you how to quickly open your free cashback account."

The last time someone said "don't worry" ...........well that's a long story!!

Who does the cashback come from? MSN or Adorama?

Thanks,

Wow! Pulled the trigger on a 5D MkII and 24-205 combo and got the pending $385. Now what, wait 60 days to see if its legit? Has anyone actually got any money back?

I'm getting a check from the Ambassador in charge of the Nigerian lottery! They're going to Direct Deposit it into my bank account.

I'm concerned about my cash back from Bing ($277) because it's owned by Microsoft.

anyway at the end of the 60 days you will get an email from bing saying you have cashback, then you can go in to choose to send it to a bank account, paypal etc :)

I have gotten back nearly 2k so far since I started using it last year :) never a single issue with it, its 100% real

If you got the notification from Bing you're good to go, in the 60 or so days you will get your cash.

Some of us are having issues with Bing showing puchases as pending but that's a separate issue that Bing and Adorama need to fix.
