Hi all

Here are a few shots of Horned Grebes. I spent around two weeks photographing these and enjoyed every minute of it. This is one of my favorite species and one of the things I love about them is the affection they show each other. If anyone doubts that birds have feelings they should watch Horned Grebes for some time and they will never speak of it again. One must always be very careful when photographing birds on nests. It's easier to cause harm than some might think so always keep in mind that no shot is worth putting the subject at risk. You must know what you are doing and be ready to back off if the birds show any signs of stress. Please feel free to comment (C&C).

Sindri, you have outdone yourself with this series. Absolutely awesome images. To be there when a chick hatches has to be the event of a lifetime. This series is nothing short of spectacular and you are to be congratulated on an outstanding job.

These are absolutely the best Sindri. Perfection! Such beautiful birds too. It's also great to see we have doubled the POTN population in Iceland with your friend Sigurjon.

Sindri, you have transcended photography and transformed these images into beautiful works of art. Each conveys a true feeling with the shot, well done!

This is one of the finest series I have ever seen on this forum!

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
