Folks,

I have outgrown my walk around bag... which is a generic Canon one. I wanted to upgrade to something small that could still carry a couple of things: 5Dmk2, 24 - 105 with hood, and 70 - 200 f4 IS with hood... occasionally the flash, along with a pen/airbrush.

I am down to two Crumpler bags: The 5 and 6mdh. I torn between the 5mdh for it's space savings and lightweight, and the 6mdh for it's extra room.

Can I get away with the 5mdh for what I am looking for? Or should I go with the 6mdh?

Thanks!
Aldwyn

You can fit that easily into the 5MDH without the flash. To include the flash I would get the 6MDH.

6MDH definitely. The 24-105 is too much for that with all the others. If it was 1 7-40, yeah but get the 6MDH to be safe. I keep debating if I want to upgrade the 6MDH is too big for everyday affairs. Maybe I'll just get one? Naw, don't have the spare money...

5MDH is too awesome and the perfect size. Could be a bit taller but it's fine.

I'd say the 6MDH also, I bought the 5 about two weeks ago for an XTI and a few lenses. It fits these just fine. But this week I bought a 40d and with the same lenses(17-50 Tammy, 55-250) things are a little to snug for my liking. So the 5MDH is heading back to Amazon and the 6MDH will be here by midweek.

Wow, good thing I asked, as it sounds like the 6mdh is winning by a landslide!

Guess for what I want, the 6 is the bag!

Thanks for the input, folks!

I love my 5MDH, but it's probably a little small. I just use it for carrying around a few things. When I want to carry everything I used my UD50.

So yeah, probably 6MDH :)

I would vote for the 6MDH over the 5 as well

The amount of stuff you want to carry is similar to what I carry in my 7MDH clone bag. Go for the 6MDH it's probably the perfect size:)
