1. Fun! Great! Lol!

2. Interesting.

3. Different. Colors are great.

4. Cool. I love that one!

It's a very nice series, creative and artistic. While #2 struck me least, I could come to understand and appreciate that one. Nice, nice job.

bw!

These are very nicely done Sarah - thank you for sharing.

A couple of times each year I judge competitions and there are always florals. I cringe because they tend to be the same old cookie-cutter compositions. These are anything but that and show that you put a great deal of thought and work into each.

To me, photography is very successful when it literally grabs you with an image that you've never scene before, or compells you to think about what is going on in a composition. All of yours do exactly that while offering up some very satisfying visual treats.

I look at #1 an immediately wonder what on earth is going on? This is quite the opposite of what I expect to see. The second seems to glow with its own inner light and offers wonderful contrast with the dark background. The third, while visually not as pleasing as the rest, poses a mystery as to its makeup, and the last just seems to be a fun, happy shot.

Keep it up Sarah, and continue to post - we are the richer for your efforts. - Stu

The first and last are my favorites, the last one is amazing. I don't really "get" #2, though...

Could you please explain how you stuck the Pentax lens on the 40D? I have a 50mm Pentax lens I would love to use...
