Thanks for the 2nd Ed, and congrats Jason!

Super entries everyone!

I learned a valuable "art" lesson from that Dance Floor shot. When my wife and I got back from Jamaica last month, when went through our usual ritual of unpacking, starting wash and all of the normal domestic tasks - then settled in with a glass of wine to review the vacation photos.

As we skimmed through them I cringed at all of the nightclub shots (my first time ever shooting at 1600 with no flash) because most of them were a horrifically blurry. As the pictures zipped by on the computer all I could think was "delete, delete, delete", until that one popped up and my wife really liked it. I think at that point I made a rather sour expression and kept skimming - and it wasn't until the next morning when I looked at it again, that I started to warm up to it. Now it's one of my favorite shots...

Beauty, eye of the beholder, and so forth. So I learned that I should always give shots that I don't like, a second chance.

Looking forward to 115 :)

Chris it's not just the exposure, motion and lighting that grabs me, but also the composition. Just love how you notice nothing but legs and feet on the women, I don't see or notice any men. Beautifully done.

I don't like to delete anything when it's from a vacation. Every shot is a memory, good or not. I have a fireworks shot from the four weeks I spent in Florence, Italy. Plopped my Samsung 35mm film camera on a stone wall and took a bulb exposure, horrifically poor. But I love it anyway, I can still smell the air from that night, ten years later. :)

Too funny.

I didn't even know what "second curtain" was until you posted that (I still have a lot to learn), so thanks for educating me. Looking forward to the contributions.
