Very cute kid and nice shots.

Mine has grown up to be 1 yr plus and now is getting harder to shoot as he moves too fast towards the camera and lights.

Great shots! Care to share the set up? How do you get the eyes so crisp?

What a cutie!! I love 3 & 4!! My faves :)
I think you did a great job, there are a few that have harsh lighting, just a tad, but other than that they are fab! I love the hat - I used a hat just like that for my son's 6 month pics too - lol

It was a one light setup - a 4x6 softbox to my left, turned sideways so it was 6' long by 6' high. There was a silver reflector to my right angled in towards him to throw some light from that side.

The background is just a seamless paper background - 9' wide. Not that you need a 9' wide seamless for a baby, but I like to use it.

The eyes were all in sharp focus (I shot at f/5.6) and I did use an action to bring them out just a tad more. Other than that, I vignetted some and adjusted brightness/contrast and touched up his face a bit - he had some drool/spit up going on.

He was not the same distance away from me or the light, so that is why the lighting does seem a bit brighter in some than others, as well as the processing I did - I'm not too consistent lol.

So, thank you again for the comments everyone and I hope this can help you down the road. I have more outfits I am going to try with him, but I may not get to it for a couple weeks.

First of all, those eyes are amazing! Add the drool with the smile and you've got keepers here. I'd do a collage and give to grandparents. He's adorable! Great job, Jeff.
