I was wondering, if you send a xxD series camera to Canon to replace worn buttons on the back, can they replace them with new ones (at a cost of Course)? I want to replace some of the worn buttons on the back of my xxD series camera. Does anyone have experience doing this with Canon? Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Take Care and May God Bless!

I see you're in Japan, but there must be the equivalent of the 800-CANON phone number there for customer service. I don't see why they couldn't do this.

What is worn? The plastic button? Or the contacts underneath the button?

The plastic buttons. I'm a neat freak and I just bought the camera and it is already scratched. I guess getting the buttons scratched are expected, since I'm a outdoor photographer. I would like to replace the buttons on down the road. I was just wondering if Canon would do it?

Take Care and May God Bless!
