Hello,
Has anyone tried the latest edition of this lens? I have the older version and I found it quite good but then I was shooting mostly at f16 which is about a stop above it's sweet spot if memory serves me. At the time i bought it Canon didn't have a long zoom but that has been resolved with the 100-400. I would appreciate your thoughts on the lens and/or where there was a test of this lens. Thank you.

Shooting at f16, I don't think I've been above f9 :)

+1 here...
F8.0 is the sweet spot of my BigmOS.

Photography is about GEAR and not talent or practice. Practice won't make you a better photographer. Expensive equipment will. =D
