Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys could help me make a decision on my next lens purchase. Now I'm a 15 year old student I worked all summer I have some spare cash. I bought a 40D and a nifty fifty earlier this summer. I love this combination but I want something with more reach. Ideally it would be the 70-200 but that's way out of my budget range, I currently have around $650 and I want to keep around at LEAST 350.

So I was wondering if I should go with the nifty 250 or if guys know of any other lenses I should consider.

All of the posts in the https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=459569 have impressed me.

Also IQ is key to me, if you have something with better iq but not as much reach that's fine. it must have at least 100mm reach and it must be a zoom.

Thanks,
Raf:D
