Anyone else having trouble accessing their Exposure Manager website or the EM home page? Would greatly appreciate some company in our misery...

Everything seems to be working fine for me. Upload photos, admin log-in and customer view.

Hi everybody.

While ExposureManager is definitely UP, we have been receiving reports from some users that they cannot reach the site through their cable connection. This seems to be effecting primarily Comcast subscribers.

We're trying to work with our data center on narrowing down which 'routes' are effected, so that they can place calls to the right people. If you can assist us by sending in a traceroute, along with the name of your ISP.

From a Mac, just go to applications -> utilities -> network utility and click on the traceroute tab. Then enter 'www.exposuremanager.com'

From a PC, just go to the command prompt and type in
tracert www.exposuremanager.com (external link)

If you could send me the copy / paste of the results, that would be great. You can do that in this forum. The traceroute should start timing out. Just send me all the information it shows up and including the first time it times out.

As you can see from other user reports, our site is up but we obviously want to resolve whatever issue is effecting some of our users.

http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/www.exposuremanager.com (external link) (it obviously isn't down just for you, but I am just posting this to show that we are indeed up)

Thank you for your help and patience!

Hi everybody,

Our data center was, with the help of all your traceroutes, able to isolate the issue between an outside router (that was NOT part of our data center's network) and Comcast. They notified both Comcast and the company hosting the router. I don't know where the culprit was but we are receiving reports from multiple users that they can access the site again.

If you were effected by this, please try again. If it doesn't work, please let us know so we can continue to follow up on this. Hopefully that won't be necessary.

Thank you to everybody who sent in traceroutes and for your patience and understanding. I'd like to reiterate that it was not a problem inside's EM network but I know that the end result is the same which is why we tried hard to find out where the problem was. Thanks again!
