When I turn on DPP and try to open a picture the program chashes and closes. I have deleted it off my computer and reloaded it with exactly the same results. Anyone else had this problem and know of a fix?

It will crash if it doesn't like the way another program saved the jpg or even if it considers the Exif corrupt. And you don't even have to open the guilty file, sometimes it is enough that the file is in a folder that DPP is accessing and difficulty in loading the thumbnail will crash DPP. I suggest you separate your images to separate folders for .CR2 files, jpgs straight from the camera, and everything else. This will make it easier to find the bad apple. Elie / אלי
