I like the use of a macro lens for the squirrel. I've often thought about trying a macro lens for wildlife. There are times (mostly when I'm concealed in a blind) when animals come so close to me that my lens won't focus. How fun it'd be to have a macro with me for these special occasions!

BTW, which macro lens is it that you got?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I used 3 different lenses:

1. Sigma 50mm macro
2. Tamron 70-300mm macro
3. Canon 70-300 IS + 1.4x Tamron teleconverter
