I could use some recommendations for vendors online. I have been very satisfied with Abe's, but they don't carry a lens I want. I know that Adorama and B&H are good, but has anyone made purchases from any others that are less expensive, e.g. photo-4-less?

Looks like they're tied to Sigma 4 Less: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Sigma_4_Less (external link)

I've heard that part of the reason Sigma 4 Less is cheaper is because you don't get the full 7 year warranty.

I've had very good customer service experiences with B&H and Adorama. Well worth an extra 5%-10% to me. If the price difference is more than that, you'd better do your research. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Thanks. I looked more closely, and few of the lenses say "U.S.A." in the description.

Second that.
If there is a problem with an item and it was purchased through Adorama or B&H, it will be corrected to your satisfaction without question.
A few dollars is worth piece of mind should there be a problem.

Gear list:
Some light catchers, a few twist on thingy's, a couple of flashing lights, mounting poles, a lot of manuals I can't read and a couple of old gunny sacks to throw it all in.
