Great shot! I imagine the rains chased away the crowds, which is never a bad thing. Did you continue to Timberline Falls/Lake of Glass? R6 | R7 | 15-85is | Rokinon 14 2.8 | RF 16 2.8 | 16-35 F4is L | RF 24-105 F4is L | RF 70-200 F4is L | 100-400 II L | Σ150-600 C | 1.4X III | 2X III | 430ex |

On a map of the park you are looking for "The Loch", and access is from the Glacier Gorge Junction Trailhead. You follow the trail past Alberta Falls where it splits towards Mills Lake or towards The Loch. If you continue to Timberline Falls/Lake of Glass, be prepared that if you want to get up to Lake of Glass, you need to actually scramble up the side of the falls. It's very doable and is not technical, but it can be obviously wet and slick. In the times I have been there, approx half of the people look at it and turn around, missing the rewarding view of the Lake above. It's beautiful hike to the Loch and beyond up to sky pond, and I would highly recommend it!!! It's also a beautiful location for snowshoeing in the winter. http://www.facebook.com/MountainManPhotography
