What a fun day. Until the 20D broke. I was second shooting so I got mostly detail and other "less prominent" shots.

Well thank you guys very much! Shooting weddings is not something I saw myself doing three years ago, or even last year for that matter. But I've since realized how rank and rotten 98% of wedding photography is after seeing my friends photos from his wedding. He paid $5000 and got 600 unphotoshopped images of the worst caliber. Horizons were off (and not on purpose), there were frame creepers, things growing outta peoples heads, just awful on every level. I feel its my duty to show the world that yes, fine art and weddings can mesh just beautifully. I'm glad you guys like em so much and seem to understand what I am going for!

What was your processing in #2? Did those girls ACTUALLY get that much air, or did you do some work to that? Just curious. Only share if you want to ;)

No, they all got some serious air, but what I did was throw people from two separate shots in there into one. We could not get the military-like coordination needed out of them, so taking two shots (not even on a tripod, btw), and then stitching the people in there who didn't jump fully well from the first photo, gives me this. So is it faking it? Sure, but in reality, everyone did jump to the height you see, just not all at once!

Greg,

Gotcha! That makes total sense. Very cool shot!
Thanks for sharing your secret ;)
Oh, and kudos to those girls for getting that much height! My girls barely give me a few inches when I ask. I love willing subjects.

Yeah, as stated above great shots and great PP. Love the facial expressions of everyone when they are looking down and of course the jump shot is creative. Good work!
