Some shots from the lotus expedition early this morning. Only a few lotus were in full bloom, and they were too far away. Still pretty though.

WOW very nice! I love how you isolated a few lotus against watercolor-like backgrounds. Love #4 (with the orange background).

Yeah, that one with the orange seems to be a favorite. And for the life of me I can't figure out where the orange came from!

There were about 50 of us that attended. There were only a few non-photogs there that early.

Yep! It's a fun exhibit, not sure it's worth 18 million (must be lots going on behind the scene).

BJ was that you I was chatting with early Sat morning the 30th, upstairs before you enter the garden? I had a very very tall friend with me.

I was asking about other lotus location in the gardens.

On my way back to STL from Farmington, I came across a doe and her two fawns close to Hawn State Park

Taken in my car with the 100mm.
