Not much time to get that photo. thanks, put this up for fun! dbriz wrote in post #8619779 Steve you are a "sly dog"... ![]() Your terrific timing stems from your role as the "Condor King" of the Grand Canyon.... good shooting. db I had to post this after seeing your flying squirrel hanging on the tree. This is an Abert's squirrel and they can jump pretty far. Just happen to shoot a bit late on this one and he jumped as the shutter went off. Having some fun with you db.... Steve

Just say that you saw it jump and didn't have time for the light meter, so you just dropped it, made sure the camera was on M, adjusted the apertore, saw the shutter time was about right and quickly aimed and fired manual focus when you saw it was reasonably centered with a bit of sky behind for contrast ![]() Ha....ha...thanks but I can't tell a lie. It was an accident! jgrussell wrote in post #8620655 Funny!!! Thanks Judy, had to post this for db.... Steve
