hey all, I took both of these images a few years ago. We were hanging out in a pasture and little Wyatt couldn't be separated from his dad. I would love suggestions on how to improve and if you think these need some processing. If I remember correctly, I don't think much has been done to them. Unfortunately, I believe I was shooting in jpeg back then. Thanks!

I love the colors of the clothing and the poses. I think these definitely could benefit from post processing. What do you have for software?

I have aperture. Not a fan of the program. I recently have gotten my hands on lightroom and will have Photoshop, but I only know the very basics in Photoshop. I took a seminar a few wks ago and learned work flow. It was pretty helpful. Lightroom seems very straight forward. What would you suggest?

I played with these a little in photoshop. I didn't do a lot with them and I think what I did helped them to "pop" a little more. I sharpened using the USM. I then added a layer where I adjusted the exposure, a layer where I adjusted the levels and then a layer where I adjusted the curves. I then went back and sharpened and dodged the eyes a little. This was about a 5 minute play. I think you have a good eye for composition, but just need to use a little post-processing on the shots.

After looking at this one again, I think I might have sharpened it a little too much, but you get the idea.

I did this quickly in LR2- just really made the colors a bit dirtier.
