Quick concert comment. Switchfoot has really got a good catalog of songs. Lots of sing alongs. Would really recommend their current greatest hits CD. They got a new album coming out in the next few weeks.

Thanks for the comment Random. Surprise more people aren't into Switchfoot. I think they are a much better band with better writing and catalog of songs than Blink182. But Blink's got the money.

Hear you for sure on that one rock... but that's the beauty of music. For instance, thrice my favorite band. Not to many people know about them and they're not on mtv and that is a huge reason why i DO like them. These bands like switchfoot are pretty loyal to their fan base, and although they might change their style over time and mature, they wont sell out.

Really nice diverse set. Love that you captured the crowd as well. I missed them when they came through because I was already booked to shoot someone else but I'd love to shoot them. 4 and h4 are my faves

Jon does some really amazing acoustic versions of their songs.

Thrice is such an awesome band. I love Switchfoot, just shot them at Rock the Universe. I loved them long long ago before The Beautiful Letdown. I'm still working on them and Switchfoot was the fourth band so they're down the line a little but I'll get to them.

hey rockstar what do i have to do to be able to shoot the thrice show. Although i am just an amateur is there anyway of me maayybbe getting a hold of a media pass somehow and if i can how I really dont want to be in the crowd for that show

Actually, I caught a leap off the drum set but yes, its very dark and I don't know what more I can do to bring out the jump.

well i'm not sure about others, but on my (gloss - argghhhhh!!) imac screen i can't see anything in those shadows at all

will check again at home on a non gloss monitor!

thanks for looking Mary. I was going to post a dig at how my Switchfoot photos are better than the Blink photos that have been posted and then you went and posted your great shots.

LOVE Switchfoot! I haven't seen them live for awhile. Great shots!

Thrice is one of my husbands faves. He's going to see them next month. I'm not too much into the screaming, but I really liked Air, Earth, and Water (and like, one song from Fire ) from The Alchemy Index.
