With the first there is nothing in the bottom third of the photo, so I'd crop all that out.

The second is a nice composition, but I don't really like B&W landscapes. Maybe it'd look better to me in colour.

Looks like some pretty amazing light on that first one. I agree with MrGreen though, the bottom third of that pic looks like it has no detail. Very nice though. Thanks for sharing these

Beautiful work Brent - the first is my favorite and a really stunning image.... memories of Ansel's work and also some of the eerie industrial lighting of Margaret Bourke-White. Love that center of attention on the moody clouds, although my eye wishes for just a little bit more shadow detail in the foreground. But that's just me being picky on a gorgeous shot. This would look super as a 20x30 matted print.

The second is good buck could use just a tad bit more tonal range in those deep shadows. Still, not shabby at all.

We were there in '02 back in my medium format film days, hiking Jenny Lake, Cascade Canyon and a few other places I can't remember. I had to rely on a lab for those images and couldn't play in photoshop like I do now. :D - Stu
