Philadelphia Naked Bike Ride

I went to this event this past weekend to photograph and my wife came along to ride. We both had a great time and I got a few great photos. Here are a few:

Something about bike riding.. sans pants/shorts just seems painfull!

Now that is a classic. First volleyball in a mud pit and a naked bike ride in the same day of posts. I love this site.

LOL...I'm guessing he chose to display the ones that were fit for public consumption.

Yes, I can't post nudity here. Go to my gallery to see the uncensored images. In all, I'd say 10% of the riders were totally nude, 80% rode topless, and another 10% wore full-clothing. This was the first-ever event of it's kind held in Philadelphia, so most of the riders were being cautious because no one was sure what was going to happen with the PD. As it turns out, the Philly PD were extremely helpful and even escorted the ride in the busiest parts of the city (ie around City Hall, Rittenhouse Square, and the Art Museum).

The 2nd Annual event is already planned for next year. I'm sure it will be bigger with more 100% nudity.

We get those sort of cycling days here in Vancouver too.So far, they are like my most popular photos on flickr! lol
