My first attempt of playing with water. I wanted to get some motion in the drops while getting good pics of the bird. I have little experience. What would you have done differently? What did I miss? What should I try next time? Thanks for the help!

These were both shot with a 5D, 70-200 f2.8 on a tripod.

I like the rich color in the body area of the Macaw in the first picture. If you had captured the eyes in this photo I think it would really stand out.

Yes, that's my Macaw. She's a Shamrock Macaw. We also have a Blue and Gold Macaw , an African Grey and the Alexandrian in my avatar.
