I made this photograph at a Grammy Foundation event in Hollywood back in February during Grammy Week. I was in a horrible position on the red carpet and just about to pack it in for the night when he appeared out of no where. Very sad ending to his life. He was always very nice to us who work the carpet and always wanted to do the press line, even if he was having a bad day. Dude will be missed. Drugs are bad, mmmkaaay.

Good shot. I didn't like the guy so I am not defending his drug use...but reports are that he was totally losing it with survivor guilt for the past year. He was having a real tough time that the others on the plane who died had families and stuff they left behind. Add to that the fact that his girlfriend dumped him the week before, and he went off the deep end.

Can you imagine going through what old boy went through? Walking away from a plane crash. Thats got to be a heavy burden of guilt on ones shoulders. The thought of why did they die and I didnt has to be constantly lingering.. When I made this photograph, I was really shocked to see him out in public after being released from the hospital. Anyways, just wanted to share.

I didn't post any pictures of famous people? Nobody in Blink died.

Nice people have problems/addictions, too, unfortunately.
