I see Alien Bees and other strobes have threads to show off, and non for the small flashes. But now it's time to shine. Show your small flash shots, ether in studio or locations.

I'll start with a self portrait I did last weekend. I used my Canon 580exII with a bounce umbrella as main light and my Vivitar 285hv for back light.

and this one was with my 580exII on camera set to -1 2/3 compensation.

430EXII into 60x60cm softbox (definitely not large enough) moved in close, camera left.
430EXII into 43" shoot-through umbrella camera right
580EXII direct flash from behind
Balanced with overhead tungsten stage lights

580EXII, 1/4 power into 60x60cm softbox camera right about 2 feet away
Dad's old full power 1988 Sunpak flash with green plastic filter, 105mm and camera left from behind.

Seems oversharpened, but it's just flickr resizing and sharpening up a little.

580EXII into 43" shoot through umbrella camera left, 2m high, 30˚ down
430EXII with a blue 'lightsphere cover knockoff' cap for background light
White reflector camera right

T'was a no-budget shoot for a school club where I mentored, and the teacher decided to change into his Police uniform for me to get some shots. They were good to me so I just obliged (:

Here's the setup shot:
