Lightroom and Picasa

Does these two programs come with some preset settings or something? I noticed the colors look different when viewing through each programs. My monitor is not calibrated but sometimes LR seems to make some of the colors too hot.

Took these two pictures and both are unedited except resizing to 1024x683.

Open with LR and saved

These are what? Raw files or jpg?
Screenshots?

First has sRGB embedded, second has no color profile.
I suspect that this is a color management problem.

Have a read here (external link) and here.

Picasa is not color managed.

Calibrate your screen.

RAW converted to JPEG then resize, with nothing else done.
