Fall 2009 rebates?

I saw an official-looking rebate form in Canada but nothing in the US yet. Any idea if/when the rebates will be offered in the US?


Cameras: 1DX, 1D4, 20D, 10D, S90, G2
Lenses: Canon 10-22mm, 16-35mm f2.8L II, 24-70mm f2.8L, 70-200mm f2.8L IS, 300mm f2.8L IS, 200mm f2L IS, 50mm f1.4, 50mm f1.2L, 85mm f1.2L, 1.4x TC, 2x TC, 500D macro, Zeiss 21mm
Lighting: 580EX, Elinchrom 600 RX's, D-Lite 4's, ABR800, 74" Eli Octa, 100cm/70cm DOs, Photoflex Medium Octa and reflectors, PW's, Lastolite Hilite, Newton Di400CR bracket

I can confirm Canon Canada has rebates on many lenses and flashes valid through Oct 31, 2009. Interestingly, there is no rebate on the 70-200 2.8 L IS but there is on all the versions of this lens...

Hmm... Today was\is the first day of Fall, and no word yet on Canon's '09 Fall Rebates (at least, down here in the US)...

I just PRAY the 5D Mark II is included :D

Based on previous rebates, I would expect a $75-$100 rebate on the 5D2.

For the 70-200 2.8 IS, I would probably say $75-$125 (again, based on previous years\rebates).
