Tonight I shot a dance show in philly the dance company was called Xhale (my girlfriend is the art director). I haven't had a chance to go through all the pictures, but this one really stuck out to me. What do you think? Not sure of the name of the dance or who they are lol but i love it...

It was a big challenge for you to keep the guy from blending into that black bg.
If I was to try one change it would be to frame them further away from the left margin.
Good shooting.

I'd disagree ... I think when you're shooting in these conditions where to expose properly for the highlights (which is generally where your interest is) you have to create some large areas of negative space, it's much better to play with the positioning of subjects near to the edges of the frame. Definitely done a good job keeping the male figure out of the shadows, well done.

I like this image and the piece looks really intriguing, I want to know what's been going on with the paint ...

Composition is okay. Shot from lower would have been better I think.
Image *at least the people) are a bit too dark.
