When I view my thumbnails in Elements 6 Organizer the pictures don't look as sharp as they should especially when I compare them against thumbnails viewed in Windows Photo Gallery. Can anyone tell me why this happens or what I can do, if anything, to increase the sharpness of the Organizer thumbnails?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thumbnails are just thumbnails and not intended for IQ. The only setting regarding the thumbnails in PSE6 is their image size, which is 640x480 by default. It could be expanded to 1280x960 max. (at least in PSE7), but with a lot of pictures imported this will also increase the size of the thumbnail cache dramatically (4x). It's up to you...

Regards,
Piet

Thanks for the information, how do you increase the thumbnails to 1280x960? Is it done through Elements? I have looked and don't see where there is an option in Elements 6 but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Once again thanks for your assistance.
