I never used it for various reasons. But in a thread a few weeks ago somebody enlightened me to a nifty trick that I was previously unaware of.

Using ISO shift/ Using Tv/ and using the Cfn to "freeze" the aperture at a chosen value essentially having a "workable" Shutter/Aperture priority.

It is really not that great for me in any other use other that shooting in the water because my water housings don't have a ISO button which makes even shooting in Manual tricky when some clouds come over.

Now I can just set it to 1/1250 and F7.1 and let the ISO drift around.

The only beef I have is it overrides what ISO you {ENABLE} the camera to have which sucks.

Well if you don't "freeze" either the shutter or the Fstop in the Cfn.'s the ISO will not shift until the camera either:

1) Hits 1/8000th of a sec or 1/60th in AV mode.
2) Hits the Limits of the mounted lens in TV mode.

So freezing the Fstop (in my case I would rather adjust the shutter) allows you to essential have the antithesis of ISO priority. You are "sort of" shooting in Manual and letting the ISO alone adjust the exposure.

It should be if you can select/limit your "range" of Fstops in your Custom Functions
I am not very familiar with that camera.

I am sure you have ISO saftey shift though.
