Framing script

Please note that the CS version of the framer (AKA Basic Framer) is v1.11.

The CS2 Framer is v1.10

If updating from v1.10 there is no need to delete the Mikes Framer folder.

If you are updating from v1.09 or lower then you will have to delete the Mikes Framer folder and its contents, located in the Photoshop directory ......\Presets\Mikes Framer

Fixed bug: drop shadow stroke applied in other mattes.

Fixed bug: When cutbevel selected and matte deselected, overall size was -20 pixels.
Added inner shadow for the frame. (request)
Changed cut bevel matte so all parts are on different layers. (request)
Changed various parts of matte layers.

I have tested this quite well but don't be suprised if you find a bug. If you do, let me know.

Added on/off checkboxes for Frame/Matte.

The selected photoshop fg/bg colours are now saved each time you save a config.
Added ability to use saved colours.

I noticed that a few people using the script are using different fonts for signature/title/exif. So I have added the ability to do this directly from within the script. Don't forget you have to use postscript font names which can be easily found using the other small script included in the zip file.

I've uploaded a new version because there was a problem when using the cut-bevel matte with CS2.

Wet weekend and nothing to do, so I wrote this script for photoshop....

It lets you frame your pic with one of two types of frame/matte, add signature and title. All options are selectable.

Here are a couple of shots:

Brilliant, brilliant, I love it! I love the way it resizes the pics, very handy I wonder if it can be used as part of an action, or if it could take a list of files to frame from the CS2 Bridge/File Browser?

That is very cool, thanks Mike! Any chance of incorporating the java scripts one of the other member wrote that adds in the Exif information as well?

Would many people use that? If I bother framing a picture nicely I won't want EXIF info written on it... unless I misunderstand you. JAlbum's a good tool that understands and displays EXIF on web pages.

If I get a chance later I will see what I can do.

This is great Mike. I like the fact that you can select whether or not to flatten the layers. It allows me to do a little more tweaking on the layers. Thanks for the great tool.

I've uploaded a new version that will include basic exif info. I've limited it to Camera, Shutter speed, Apature and ISO for now.

If you already have the other version installed, you must delete the folder "Mikes Framer" and its contents from Adobe\Photoshop CS\Presets before using this version.

I'm getting a "page not found" message...

I'll try again later, as you might still be setting things up on your site... This script looks to be exactly what I've been hunting for...

I have never dowloaded a preset - I downloaded. Now, how do I use it? Help!

What does it do with the EXIF info? Stamp it on the image? Sorry, no PS on this machine to try it.
