40D Grip ??'s

Hi all,
I have a 40D and had either a bg-e2 or e2n grip for it, can't remember exactly which one. My question is are there any after market grips which have a finger grip circumference that is smaller than the Canon models. I like the grip for the weight, battery capacity, and alternate set of controls, but the alternate grip area was way too fat for my hands to hold comfortably.

It pretty much has to be that size to fit the batteries.

Yeah, it seems to me though that I saw an after market one where rhe batteries went in lengthwise. I didn't know if that version was a little narrower.

I have the targus grip.. bought it for my 20D, transferred to the 30 and now the 50. It's durable and it has batteries that feed in lengthwise as you are looking for
