I've made a similar thread recently but I thought I'd make a new one as this one is about a slightly different topic.
So I have a 17-40 on FF and I'm getting myself a set of filters. I want to be able to use it at its widest without having to worry about vignetting. At first I looked at the Lee holder with a wide angle adaptor ring but I fear that even with this setup I might get some vignetting at 17mm if I stack several filters. I'm also planning to use the B+W 10 stop ND filter which makes it even more prone to vignetting.
However, I just noticed that Lee also makes 130mm filters for the Cokin X-Pro holder which sounds like a pretty good deal. Hopefully this should be wide enough to avoid vignetting even when using multiple filters. Some don't like the Cokin holder and prefer the Lee one but I haven't tried either of them and was hoping for some advice from you guys.
Has anyone tried this setup? What about Cokin's holder, is it really that much worse than Lee's? Any help will be appreciated!
