Terrific shots. 2, 6, 7 and 8 are my favorites.

Makes me a little sad since my grandparents' farmhouse in Fluvanna County looks much like that now...

Thanks! I am sure these homes have quite a bit of history, just like your grandparents home. I wish we could go inside to get some shots.......but I wouldn't feel too safe, seeing as how these old balloon frame structures don't age that well! They are "leaners". :D

I would kill to have a home like that. I love those big old southern homes.. too bad it was in such horrible decay.. they are just stunning.

Was my favorite part of living in the south..all of those beautiful old historic homes.

There are tons around here.....I've just never had the opportunity to stop and shoot any. They are very photogenic as well. :cool:
