IF (big if) POTN would let someone be the TF for a day, would you bid for that day?

As for proposed ground rules, let's see if:
1. There's enough interest and, if so,
2. PEKKA and the mods would allow it to take place

A given: The winning bid payment would be made to POTN as a donation.

PS - If you don't know already, TF stands for Title Fairy. Her picture is in my avatar, and she has the outright ability to change your title.

FWIW, you do NOT have to dress like that for a day. Unless, of course, you just want to.

You know, I've always wondered what is done with the donations. Is it just to cover the cost of the site? (I hope this isn't a stupid question...)

Pekka maintains a Villa at Portofino, a large yacht, several concubines and a world-wide crime syndicate.

The server for POTN is just a way to relax after a day spent running the lives of tens of thousands of minions.

I happen to be in the IT business -- My guess is that hosting POTN costs several hundred dollars a month, min.

See this thread:
https://photography-on-the.net …67&highlight=donate+costs

BTW, if they allow this, I hope you win, then you can remove my name from your title.

Thanks for sharing that thread. I didn't realize it costs so much!

I figure a day is enough time to do some damage -- I think whoever gets that 'job' just hits <report post> and gets to 'suggest' to the TF........

But, hey, I'm open to a week.

Ultimately, it is up to the TF. I sent her a message.

Responses like that could get your title changed to "Prop Wash".
