I had a visit to the Philly Zoo yesterday (9/14/09) and got some very nice shots. The lighting was excellent and the big cats all seemed to be in the mood to pose for me. Im still learning and perfecting things but I think my pictures came out very well. Each time I go, I get a little better.

All of the images were taken with an XTi and either 70-200L f4 or the kit lens. I hope to upgrade my equipment soon. CC is welcome!

Thank you everyone! Sometimes I feel as though I luck out with the poses. I wait for the right moment. Ill sit at an enclosure for hours.

Hopefully Ill have the gear and budget someday to be able to get pics in the wild.

Nice shots. Have you considered a smaller watermark?

I have but Ive had people crop my picture to remove the watermark and they stole them. I do portraits for people and sometimes friends pets and someone stole a bunch of pics of chinchillas that I had up and put in on their site and said that it was their chinchillas. Which they then tried to "sell" on a pet forum. (Scam!) And I found out because someone on the forum recognized the pictures. It was a pita. So now I slap on a big watermark that cant be cropped out. Do you think its really bad looking?
