Hi Arty - Seems to be a "controversial" piece of driftwood as I got that comment on flicker as well. However, for my personal likes I find there to be too much empty space for this composition w/o that especially in relation to the size of the main subject. I often clone out many distractions in my bird photos but this inclusion was a conscious decision. Dave
