I think the object in the top left spoils the silhouette shot, should be easy to clone out.

Hi Arty - Seems to be a "controversial" piece of driftwood as I got that comment on flicker as well. However, for my personal likes I find there to be too much empty space for this composition w/o that especially in relation to the size of the main subject. I often clone out many distractions in my bird photos but this inclusion was a conscious decision.

I do appreciate the feedback Art, thank you.

Thanks everyone. I'm always trying to visualize when I can turn a bird scene into a fine art scene. Luckily this Yellowlegs cooperated for a minute, before heading for higher mud ;)
