One of the first pics with the new rig. Atlas EQ-G, 6" Celestron Refractor, 50D
ISO3200, 30 sec, f8 (scope), Noise Ninja'd, desaturated in Photoshop since I forgot to use the V-Block filter and it was kinda purple.

Here's a crop showing the purple fringing.

Shame that 6" Produces so much CA on bright objects but the star clusters look good and the halo can be edited out some . Heres a FILTER (external link) from Orion that can help on correcting that problem tho . If your using a 2" adapter for the camera and attached to the 2" focuser the 2" will screw onto the front of the adapter . Or you can get this FILTER (external link) from Lumicon for the same purpose .

Nice pics. The Double-Cluster was one of the first things I ever imaged, and I love the variety of colours it provides.

Canon EOS 450D, Sigma 18-200mm, Canon 50mm f/2.5 Macro, 2x TC, Revelation 12" f/5 Dobsonian, Mintron PD2285-EX webcam.
