Really makes me want to sell mine, which is gripped...

They've held good value by the looks of it, and despite it being a good price for someone selling it, it's an awesome price for someone buying one.

There is a serious logical fallacy with that suggestion. 5D =/= my 30D, hence not worth buying.:cool:

 If you insist Col :p

glad I have a good habit of using your flashes only when I need more than two. My assistant (aka girlfriend) wasn't free today so it's her fault I dropped it :x

Are you buying older Ed's 5D or did he already get rid of it? :p

Ed decided to keep his 5D.
Tried out some full frame action and do I just love it. Massive sensor, massive viewfinder, just makes the decision all so much harder.

Can't blame him, the 1Ds2 is a beast :p If you've just sold a 450D and you've mostly been into portraits rather than sports or anything like that then a 5D is your best choice.

Yeah, they do seem to be getting good money. Guess the 50D being seen as a dud didn't hurt :-)

Hmmm, it's tempting...

Further proof that you can't trust women. Or pseudo-women like Collin.

1DmkIII - best of all worlds.

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Do you use it much now compared to your 1D3? If you don't then the extra money would be worth it before it loses more value once the 50D and 7D have been out longer :p 50D's not too bad but I'd prefer to shell out the extra for a 7D or 1D2, like I did!

Edit: And yeah, the 1D3 is the best of everything right now. Awesome AF and amazing high ISO. And I really like the 1.3x crop too

You're kidding, right? I've got a 1DmkIII! I shoot a few frames every month to make sure it's still a viable backup, but that's it. But I need a spare camera...

I'm waiting for the 1D IV. I never thought I'd shell out $5000-6000 for a camera body, but I just may if it gets announced next Feb.. (or as some people are speculating, in 10 days).

Exactly  It seems like the 40D is a little brother to the 1D3 but still, it's a 1D3! Why wouldn't you use it :p

Might be $7K+, of course.
