I'm waiting for the 1D IV. I never thought I'd shell out $5000-6000 for a camera body, but I just may if it gets announced next Feb.. (or as some people are speculating, in 10 days).

Why bother? Just buy a 1D3 now and be done with it ;)

Football was on last night. Sydney downed Melbourne 3-0. ;) Made a cheeky 4:1 of some early odds from the TAB too. Oooooh yeeeeeeeh!

Get out  Nah, Sydney deserved that. Croatian manager man (have no idea how to spell his name) has got them playing REAL football. They're crossing the ball properly, they're creating more purposeful plays rather than just pass until someone is open and I liked watching the replays of the goals, despite being a Victory supporter.

Good for the 'Roos to get the draw but would have been good to have scored just to say that we scored against them again

Might be $7K+, of course.

Ugh, hope not. :)

Cuz I want the 5D II's high-ISO performance along with all the refinements brought about by the 7D. If it's $6k, I'd possibly bite. Any more, and I may just got 1D III. :)

I bet ;), I want to get either a 35L or 50L because the 85 is a bit on the ex side.

The 1D3 is close enough to the 5D2  Nah, I can see why you're waiting but the 1D3 is an amazing body already and if I had money, I'd buy it now, but obviously it's the new technology, and the price, that would sway you :p

Yeah. The main reason I'd be interested in the 1D4 is that there would be nothing terribly compelling again until the 5D III, and that would be awhile. Now, being able to afford such a camera (or even the 1D III) is another story altogether..

Bit hot on the far cheek, but that red dress really stands out well in that setting. :)
