What's the going rate for photo's published in a magazine these days?

It depends on the magazine, size of image, circulation etc

Nanna's party went ok today (photography-wise). Would have loved a 24-70 but I sat with my 70-200 which was useful when we were outside and then the 24 wasn't useful enough indoors! I'll either study or do the photos later on, not sure which ;) Tough decision.

bannedPermanent ban

BTW, the new Photoshop app for the iphone is available in the US app store. (Not in the AU one.)

Looks pretty good so far - nice UI - but I haven't really compared it fully to Photoforge yet. Nice to use, though.

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Bugger the Aliens.

on another issue a mate has just dropped in, had a trip to Noumea with his wife and his CF card ain't reading on his camera or computer, same thing at my place. By the way the card died in his camera.
Now I can't use recovery software if the gizmos ain't reading the card,

has he lost everything or is there a magic elixir to use to revive the dead card??

Try freezing it, sometimes the contacts become seperated and freezing will bring them back together long enough for you to suck off images.

What brand card? Was it SanDisk?
